IL CENTRO STORICO

In addition to offering beautiful beaches, Sperlonga is also a charming village. The small town made up of narrow streets offers some excellent ideas for a vacation to discover the local culture.
A characteristic feature of this location are the four towers. Built in the Middle Ages to defend against the Saracens, today they are one of the most visited tourist destinations. The Central Tower and the Nibbio Tower are now incorporated among the houses of the village, giving it that perched and winding appearance. The Truglia Tower, on the other hand, has been restored several times, and also housed the Guardia di Finanza headquarters for several decades, so it remains in good condition. Sperlonga’s small and picturesque churches, located mostly in the ancient heart of the town, are also worth a visit.
